Filler treatments

Hyaluronic acid is a gel like substance that mimics a molecule we already have in our skin tissues and is therefore compatible with our bodies. Fillers can be used to restore volume lost through the natural ageing process (eg, under eye tear troughs, cheeks, lips, marionettes, nose to mouth lines) and/or contour the face (eg: cheek bones, chin, lip definition, jawline, nose).  Dermal fillers also have the advantage of hydrating the skin and giving the skin tissue firmness and plumpness. Results vary from 6-18 months on average.

Wrinkle relaxing treatments

An injectable treatment that aims to relax specific muscles in the face that cause expression lines (eg: frown lines, crows feet). The result is diminished or softened lines/wrinkles giving you a fresher, smoother looking face. It is a popular and virtually pain free treatment and the effects can last on average from 3-4 months.

Please note: this treatment requires a face to face prescription appointment in advance.

Microneedling using electronic device

Using an electronic pen system (allowing a significant increase in micro channels compared to traditional derma-rollers), the process involves using tiny needles (via the pen) to micro-puncture the skin with a medical grade serum, triggering it to promote new collagen, elastin production and healing; whilst also increasing the capacity of the skin to absorb medical grade products tailored to your skin type in clinic straight after the procedure. The procedure also promotes skin firmness and can effectively treat fine wrinkles, old scars, acne scars and sagging skin. Numbing cream is used beforehand to make it virtually pain free and downtime is minimal. A course is recommended for optimum results (eg: 3-12 sessions with at least 4 weeks inbetween treatments).

Needle technique - Perfect before a big event or night out and can be done 3-4 weekly or just occasionally. Meso is a painless technique using a tiny needle superficially to penetrate the skin layers with a medical grade cocktail of nutrients, amino acids, vitamins and antioxidant ingredients to hydrate, firm and tighten your skin, restoring moisture and improving your skin texture due to loss of collagen and hyaluronic acid, ageing and pollution. Tailored to your skin type/problem. Can also be used to promote hair growth.

Non-needle technique – Using a medical grade AHA + EGF skin booster applied topically to the skin after a baseline facial, with similar results to mesotherapy but without the needle.

Both have no downtime; perfect for a ‘lunchtime facial’ to really get that GLOW, before an event or night out or simply to promote and maintain good skincare results.

Chemical peels

Bespoke chemical peels are used to treat a range of skin conditions. After a baseline facial, a tailor made solution designed for your specific skin type / problem is applied and left for a short period of time to penetrate the skin at a deeper level (sometimes this can sting a little but it’s not for long). Peels can effectively targets skin problems such as large pores,  sun damage, acne break outs, poor skin texture, dull skin, hyperpigmentation and ageing. The best results are seen after a course of peels (on average between 3-8 but more in the case of significant scars). You won't see much peeling because the products used here tend to come off more discreetly in a tiny powder form.

Dermaplaning is a pain free method of exfoliation that consists of using a sterile scalpel to gently scrape off 3 weeks worth of dulling dead skin cells and grime in order to reveal an instant glow with a brighter and smoother complexion. It also removes any ‘vellus’ facial hair (fuzz) (don't worry it doesn't grow back any thicker or darker. Dermaplaning can be combined with other treatments such as chemical peels and mesotherapy.

LED Light therapy

A pain free treatment using specific wavelengths to penetrate the skin at varying depths to cause a specific response; likened to the photosynthesis of a plan, triggering the body to covert light energy to cell energy.  The light absorbed by the skin energises cells to produce collagen, improve skin elasticity, increase blood circulation and kill bacteria, making it a perfect add on treatment (after most skincare treatments) to promote skin healing, anti-ageing, post-treatment healing and skin rejuvenation.

A range of medical grade skincare products are available at Finesse Aesthetics; they contain a higher level of effective  ingredients (eg: hyaluronic acid) and can therefore be much more effective than standard products available on the high street. Please arrange a consultation to discuss a suitable range for your skin type.
